Barbed fittings for irrigation are connectors, often made of plastic, that create a secure, leak-resistant connection between polyethylene (PE) tubing and other irrigation components. They feature one or more ridges or “barbs” on the fitting’s insertion end that grip the inside of the tubing when inserted, and a threaded or insert end for connection to other parts of the irrigation system.
