FERTILIZER TECHNICAL TCE

Technical Data Sheet –   Fertilizer

1. Product Description

A balanced, water-soluble granular fertilizer containing the three primary macronutrients—nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K)—and optionally supplemented with secondary nutrients like sulfur (S), magnesium (Mg), and micronutrients (e.g., Zn, Cu).

2. Typical Grade Examples

3. Nutrient Functions

  • Nitrogen (N): Supports leaf growth and chlorophyll formation.

  • Phosphorus (P₂O₅): Promotes robust root systems, flowering, and fruiting.

  • Potassium (K₂O): Enhances stress tolerance, nutrient transport, and disease resistance.

  • Sulfur (S): Supports protein formation and seed development.

  • Magnesium (MgO): Central to chlorophyll; vital for photosynthesis.

  • Micronutrients (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, B, Mo): Trace elements essential for enzyme functions and metabolism.

4. Physical Properties

  • Particle size: 90 % retained on 4 mm sieve, ≤5 % below 1 mm

  • Moisture content: ≤1.5 % (dry basis) Bulk density: ~1.0 g/mL (varies by product)

5. Solubility & pH

  • Water solubility: Fully soluble in water; e.g., 10‑50‑10+TE ≥500 g/L at 25 °C

  • pH of solution (5% w/w): Typically ≤4.5–6.0

6. Standards & Compliance

  • Particle size and nutrient content conform to FAO/ISO fertilizer specifications for compound fertilizers

  • Typical labeling follows N‑P‑K conventions; P and K values refer to oxide equivalents (P₂O₅, K₂O)

7. Packaging & Storage

  • Primary packaging: 50 kg polypropylene woven bags (often with inner lining)

  • Bulk options: Available in 500–1000 kg bulk bags

  • Storage: Cool, dry, well-ventilated area; avoid moisture and direct heat exposure.

8. Usage Guidelines

  1. Test soil before application to determine nutrient needs

  2. Apply based on soil results, crop type, and growth stage

  3. Balanced blends (e.g., 15‑15‑15) are best for general maintenance

  4. High-phosphorus grades (e.g., 10‑50‑10) for root and flowering stages

  5. Always follow agronomic best practices to avoid nutrient runoff or soil imbalance

9. Safety & Handling

  • Avoid inhalation and contact with eyes/skin

  • Use protective gloves and masks during handling

  • Keep away from children and animals

  • Rinse spilled granules and stacks promptl
